At Artifex Fine Jewelry, we’re committed to the quality of our craftsmanship and want you to feel confident in your jewelry for years to come. Here’s everything you need to know about our return, warranty, and repair policies.
Returns & Exchanges
Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces
- All custom and made-to-order jewelry is final sale and not eligible for return or refund.
Ready-to-Ship Pieces
- Returns are accepted within 5 days of delivery.
- Items must be unworn, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
- Once inspected and approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Warranty Coverage
12-Month Manufacturer Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty from the delivery date covering:

Significant defects in materials or workmanship

Basic maintenance (prong checks, stone tightening, professional cleaning)
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by the client (including drops, knocks, exposure to chemicals, etc.)

Third-party repairs or alterations (this voids your warranty)
Important: Engraved jewelry is not covered under warranty and should be worn with care.
Stone Replacement & Repairs
30-Day Accent Stone Replacement

If a small diamond or accent stone is lost within 30 days of delivery, we’ll replace it free of charge.
Center & Larger Stones

Center stones and larger gemstones should be covered by third-party insurance (like Jeweler’s Mutual).

If damage occurs, we’ll evaluate the piece. If it’s due to a manufacturing issue, we’ll repair it at no cost. Otherwise, repairs/replacements will be quoted individually.
Engraving Repair

Engraving damage can often be repaired, though it’s not covered under warranty. Cost is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Resizing

Your first resizing is complimentary.

Additional resizings are available for a fee.
How to Start a Repair or Warranty Claim

We’ll let you know next steps and whether your repair may be covered under warranty.

If covered, we’ll provide a prepaid label for return shipping. If not, we’ll give you a quote before any work begins.
Important Notes

All warranties are void if your piece is repaired or resized by a jeweler other than Artifex Fine Jewelry.

The warranty is your exclusive remedy for issues related to manufacturing defects.
